The Visitor Center assists in awareness issues and environmental education of visitors, communities and fishermen. It has infrastructure that includes five tanks of observation with copies of four of the five species of sea turtles that spawn in Brazil.
The nightlife in Florianopolis is rich and varied. Both bordering the lagoon and in the center there are numerous bars, pubs, restaurants with live music, traditional and varied cuisines and food truck joints.
Rio Vermelho Ecological Park
The park was created in order to conserve samples of Ombrophile Dense forest (Atlantic Forest), salt marsh vegetation, the fauna associated with the Atlantic Forest domain, maintain the balance of water complex in the region and also provide recovery actions of altered ecosystems so as to provide the realization of scientific research and public visitation. The park area is of approximately 1,532 hectares.
